Devlog #7 : How to do Voice acting, use Voice models and record with LucasArts like quality
This is a follow up after a lot of questions arose on the Devlog : “Devlog #6 : Recreating LucasArts Pixel Art with AI in the style of Fate of Atlantis”. I wanted to do a deepdive on how to do Voice acting, use Voice models and recording quality. It gives source materials in the form of video. It also shows an in-screen game footage that shows the difference between proper voice acting and when you use voice clones with the aid of AI models.
It also shows the training in Eleven Labs and how good it is. At the end there is a section about recording quality. In special about the Blue Yeti microphone (but it will probably apply to similar devices)
I wanted to share this as it might inspire you to do similar things for you game or other media projects. Had a lot of fun and progress while making this video.
